SOLUTION

The device is designed to cut complex shapes out of ABS plastic semi-finished product. The device is fully pneumatic and produces a cutting force of 10 tons per individually driven tool. Cuts are made in a variety of directions across the semi-finished product.

The user places the semi-finished product on its base, which is fixed by a cutting matrix. After manually activating the device, the upper tool holds the product, positions it with the cutting knives, and performs a side cut. The user manually exchanges the semi-finished product for the finished product and clears the chips from the device drawer. The device oversees the precise positioning of the product and knives.
