In light of new products and expanding the production program, the company started searching for a more advanced, faster, more flexible, and optimized cutting and drilling line for aluminum profiles. These profiles are primarily used in the production of windows for caravan vehicles and trailers.

01 Problem

The company's existing line is limited to basic products and is unable to process new, more complex products. These new products required a new approach to clamping, cutting, and drilling technology. The previous line was less precise, slower, and technologically outdated. Due to these limitations, the company had to produce certain items on other machines, which increased costs and complicated the production process.

BOS GRUBAR introduced a new solution based on a flexible line for cutting and drilling aluminum profiles. The new line is designed to process all types of products, including more complex geometries. The improvements include drilling, sawing, and flexible clamping technologies, enabling fast and precise adaptation to different types of products. The line is open for integrating new products and meets all modern standards. The basic functionalities of the new line include precise cutting of 6-meter aluminum extruded profiles, drilling vertical and horizontal holes with counterboring, and slot sawing. The entire process is automated, ensuring high precision and quality output.

Flexible clamping system: Quick adjustment to different product types without the need for bolting, reducing vibrations, and improving the quality of drilling and sawing operations.
Upgraded drilling units: Additional guidance and rotational transmission to tools, extending the lifespan of the drilling unit. Automated tool count control and improved accuracy due to the robust construction.
Cutting saw: Reduced material waste along the production line, synchronized sawing with a servo drive, and a longer saw lifespan. Enhanced access for maintenance.
Line housing: More compact and aesthetically optimized design, enabling easier maintenance and improving ergonomics during operation.
